Watercolor+Ink and Acrylic Paintings
One day I was walking around a garden in Santa Barbara, and on a side road I saw hollyhocks, artichokes and sunflowers all growing together. I had not seen such colorful artichoke plants and decided to make a painting with them as well as the hollyhocks who were their neighbor.
I love the old-fashioned nature of hollyhocks, have lots of memories of them in my mother's and grandmother's gardens, and I like the fact that you can take seeds from them and plant some in your own garden.
Or, you can have this painting as a small garden in your home!
